ALTAMAR’s program offers Preschool, Elementary and Middle School and is currently applying to AdvancEd certification in the United States.
The program offers students a rich and organized stimuli so that, in accordance with each of their own personal condition, they can reach optimum maturity, development, and learning levels. The educational project one that is rich in stimuli that enhances children’s creativity and at the same time makes them happier people. The program marks a route to stimulate the children and provides a framework so that they can develop the capabilities that are innately given to them in all their fullness.

Tutors are the means through which the school provides personalized attention to each student. The tutor acts as a guide that helps the student deal with the various academic, social and personal situations of their natural development. The tutor accompanies students in their educational process, both in the academic area as well as in the acquisition of virtues, raising their goals and motivating them to achieve them. Meetings with tutors are a process of helping students to get to know themselves and to learn about the surrounding world in which they will later be able to solve the problems in their lives.

ALTAMAR PREPARATORY SCHOOL cuenta con Preescolar, Primaria y Secundaria y actualmente está aplicando a la certificación AdvancEd en los Estados Unidos.
Se ofrece un programa sobre aprendizajes tempranos que brinda a los alumnos una rica y organizada estimulación para que alcancen según las condiciones personales de cada uno, unos niveles de madurez, desarrollo y aprendizaje óptimos. Se crea un ambiente mágico en el aula, rico en estímulos que potencian la creatividad de los alumnos y hacen que se sientan más felices. El programa marca un itinerario para estimular al alumno, ofrecediendo un marco para que éste pueda desarrollar en toda su plenitud las capacidades que le vienen dadas de manera innata:

Los tutores/preceptores son el medio a través del cual el colegio le ofrece una atención personalizada a cada alumno. El tutor actúa como la guía que ayuda a que el alumno afronte las diversas situaciones académicas, sociales y personales de su desarrollo natural. El tutor acompaña al alumno en su proceso educativo, tanto en el ámbito académico, así como en la adquisición de las virtudes, la crianza de sus metas y la motivación necesaria para alcanzarlas. Las reuniones con los tutores son un proceso de ayudar a los alumnos a llegar a conocerse a sí mismos y aprender sobre el mundo circundante en el que más tarde será capaz de resolver los problemas en su vida.
Individualized Education
The principle of individualized education derives from the uniqueness of each human being to whom God has given a number of talents and own gifts, not shared with anyone else.
You can not educate massively, but person to person. Hence the personal contacts of students with the Principal, Coordinators, Teachers, Tutors and with other members of the educational team. Such pedagogical principle is not only supported by theology and philosophy, but the best and most competent pedagogical schools apply it and recommend it as an extremely effective means in all types of training.
Atención personalizada
El principio de la educación personalizada deriva de la irrepetibilidad de cada ser humano a quien Dios ha dotado de una serie de talentos y de dones propios, que no comparte con ningún otro.
No se puede educar en masa, sino persona a persona. De aquí los contactos personales de los alumnos con la directora, los coordinadores, los profesores o en general con los miembros del equipo educativo. Tal principio pedagógico no sólo es avalado por la teología y la filosofía, sino que las mejores y más competentes escuelas pedagógicas lo aplican y lo recomiendan como un medio extraordinariamente eficaz en todo tipo de formación.
Physical Development
Physical Education is considered an excellent educational tool. It is taught and practiced since PK4, with the aim of promoting healthy competition and respect for the skills and abilities of others. The School has basketball courts, volleyball courts and a football field for the physical development of students and practicing different sports. The School promotes student participation in intercollegiate tournaments.
Desarrollo Físico
El deporte es considerado como un excelente medio educativo. Se enseña y practica desde Pk4, con el propósito de fomentar la sana competencia y el respeto por las habilidades y aptitudes de los demás. Para el desarrollo físico de los alumnos y la práctica de las diferentes disciplinas deportivas, el Colegio cuenta con canchas de basketball, volleyball y fútbol. El Colegio promueve la participación de los alumnas en torneos intercolegiales.
